Hi, Kait here. I've decided to have a giveaway and join the carnival! I will be giving away one of my favorite books - Chosen - by Ted Dekker. This is a Christian, juvenile book. My mom read it to me and my brothers and we really enjoyed it! This is a great book for kids 10 & up. Thank you for participating!Now, for the rules... I have read novels by Ted Dekker, but didn't realize that he had youth fiction as well. My son, especially, would enjoy this. As far as my favourite author personally, I would have to say Karen Kingsbury, but I know my son would likely say John Bibee, who wrote the Magic Bicycle books. I think my absolute favorite would be Jeff Shaara. He makes history and the people in it come alive with a depth that is unusual.
I also just discovered Ted Dekker 2 years ago. My favorite book of his is The Slumber of Christianity.

I have heard good things about this book and would love to read it! I have many favorite authors, but one that I keep coming back to is Stephen Bly. I read his children's books when I was little and have read his other westerns through the years. I loved his "Horse Dreams" trilogy.
